Nothing, all great.

The cottage was amazing, very clean and comfortable, with a lovely back garden for our dog. the hosts were fantastic, even going above and beyond to post back a forgotten item. the location was perfect, centrally located in the Galloway Forest and close to great walks and stunning dark skies.

Not really a criticism, but be prepared to do some shopping a few miles away as there is no shop in the village. there is a bus stop nearby and plenty to explore in the area, so it wasn't a problem for us.

Love staying here! Great staff who helped with my elderly parents during our first stay. Perfect place with everything I need. Can't wait to come back for a holiday!

El servicio prestado por el personal fue excepcional, siempre atentos y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. Las habitaciones eran grandes, luminosas y se limpiaban a diario, lo cual es algo que se agradece. Además, la cama era muy cómoda. El hotel contaba con las comodidades básicas necesarias para una estancia agradable. El desayuno era bastante completo y satisfactorio para comenzar el día.

The location was fantastic, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing good communication before and during our stay. We particularly enjoyed the cozy log burner in the living room, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere during our Christmas break.

There were some disappointing aspects of our stay. The cottage had damp issues in certain rooms, such as the bathroom and kitchen, which made it uncomfortable for my partner, who suffers from asthma.

We had a wonderful time staying at Culsharg Cottage. the property was spacious with a lovely garden for our dogs. It was quiet and surrounded by beautiful sights to explore. Although we visited during the wrong time of year for dark skies, we still found plenty to enjoy in the area. the cottage itself was immaculate, cozy, and had all the necessary amenities. We particularly loved the well-equipped kitchen and the cozy log burner. the hosts, Beth and Dave, were amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. They even went out of their way to return a forgotten item. We highly recommend Culsharg Cottage and hope to return in the future. Cons: Nothing for me.

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and centrally located in the Galloway Forrest. The back garden was perfect for our dog. The hosts were great and even contacted us about a forgotten item. We had a peaceful and relaxing time, with beautiful surroundings and nearby forest walks.

The location of this cozy cottage was absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature and perfect for a Christmas getaway. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with maps and recommendations for hiking in the nearby Galloway forest park. We loved being able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and go on adventures right from our doorstep. the cottage had a lovely log burner which kept us warm and cozy throughout our stay.

We did feel that the cottage could use some updating. The decor and furnishings felt a bit tired and could benefit from some TLC.

We had a fantastic time at this remote cottage in a picturesque location. the hosts were incredibly warm and helpful, ensuring that the fire was lit and the cottage was cozy upon our arrival. the kitchen was well, equipped and the bathroom had a bonus heater. We enjoyed the privacy and the comfortable bed, as well as the off, road parking and free Wi, Fi. Exploring the beautiful surroundings and having unlimited logs for the log burner were definite highlights.

There is plenty of space and storage for cycling and walking gear. the kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances. the host, Dave, is friendly and attentive, ensuring a steady supply of logs for the fire.
